Part of the grounds has a grass covered activity area,

providing  stimulating and challenging play.

Key areas of the playground have safety surfaces.

The bell tower is a well known landmark in Rainham.

The bell was a familiar sound to local residents, calling many generations of children to the school.

Sadly the bell is no longer at Meredale, having been removed when the local authority closed Meredale Infant School.
