Christian Education The programme begins with well known Bible stories and broadens into the history of the Church and Bible. The subject presents the Christian message, without indoctrination or a leaning towards a particular denomination. Children will be encourage to learn about themselves and human nature, to debate and discuss their feelings and opinions. Relationships Our school family is made up of children of different abilities, background, beliefs and cultures. We aim to teach each child to their full potential in an atmosphere where they are learn that friendship and the views of those with different beliefs are valued and respected. In the same way communication with parents is vital and work hard at maintaining good relationships based on trust and communication. Life-skills “Lifeskills” is a less formal way of providing the children with knowledge, skills and understanding of their immediate and wider environment, preparing them to be active, responsible citizens at local, national and international level. Younger children participate in circle time and older children follow a citizenship programme. |
