Art and Design Technology

 Art plays an important part in the life of the school.  The children’s enthusiasm for the subject will be enhanced by visits to galleries, museums and workshops.  In Design and Technology children will design and make models using a variety of specialist tools and materials. 

Physical Education

 This subject promotes individual fitness, team motivation and a life-long interest and participation in sport.  As the school grows the variety of sporting opportunities will develop and increase, not only during the school day but also in the extra-curricular clubs offered. The large school hall, playground, park and playing field will provide many opportunities for sports activities.  In time teams will develop and swimming built into the curriculum.

 Creative Arts and Music

All children will participate in a wide range of musical experiences.  We encourage each child to play a musical instrument and to learn to appreciate all musical styles.  Drama and Dance will give an opportunity for everyone to develop skills, talent and confidence.
